Uganda Fire

Make your way to Malmesbury Abbey on Saturday 12th May 2012 at 7.30pm for songs, music, stories and testimonies from Kampala, Uganda as the passionate music and faith of Uganda Fire comes to North WIltshire. Contemporary rhythm, music and life as 21st century African fire fills a beautiful 12th century Abbey. Admission is free, come early to get a seat.

Music for Autism

From Friday 10th June we will be holding a short Pentecost Festival at the Abbey – a short season of drama, sculpture, teaching, worship and music with a little bit of animation, dance and mime from New College Swindon who are bringing us a morality play. One highlight of the festival will undoubtedly be our concert in partnership with Music for Autism and the Orchestra of St Johns, conductor John Lubbock. Holy Week Festival 2011 Mini Blog UDATED 19/4/11

It was good to see the Riding Lights actors again as I'd bumped into them in the Whole Hog after Basketball on Thursday Night. And really great that some guys from from basketball came to see The Narrow Road. Very strong performance, great cast and some thoughtful theology behind the script. Memorable was the side-by-side depiction of Abraham preparing to sacrifice Isaac as Christ was praying and sweating blood in the Garden of Gethsemane, then crying out 'where's my scapegoat.' Holy Week Festival 2011

Riding Lights Theatre Company open Malmesbury Abbey's 5th Holy Week Festival on the evening of Friday 15th April. An Art Exhibtion, live pop, soul, folk and classical music, the Birdcage Cafe, a Youth Pilgrimage, Luke Leighfield, Photography and Poetry, 24/7 prayer, all feature in a busy 10 days. The Good Book Tour

On Friday 11th February at 7.30pm Malmesbury Abbey is delighted to be hosting a new Spring Harvest production - The Good Book Tour - the story of the Bible in common English.
Spring Harvest is joining forces with a few of Britain’s cathedrals and some larger churches to commemorate 400 years of the King James Bible and celebrate the retelling of scripture for every generation.
