In one 24 hour period each year approximately 2000 people, young and old, local and traveller, pass through the doors of Malmesbury Abbey. We are walking in the footsteps of countless generations that have gone before us in the previous 800 years, we sing the carols that our ancestors sung and we listen to remarkable ancient texts telling the story again of the birth of Jesus—the Nativity.
