Neill is 48 and has been the vicar here at Malmesbury Abbey since April 2004. His main passions and responsibilities at the Abbey are the leadership, teaching and worship of the church and the Malmesbury Monks basketball team. He is also vicar of Brokenborough, Corston & Rodbourne and the Area Dean of North Wiltshire.
After graduating in music Neill worked for nearly 20 years as a professional opera singer – singing as a soloist at the Royal Opera House, Sydney Opera House, English National Opera etc. After his ordination in Derby Cathedral in 1999 he was a curate in Derbyshire then an Associate Minister in New South Wales. He is married to Marilyn, an Australian, who is the singing teacher at Malmesbury School, and they have three daughters Sally, Rosie & Grace.

Lee Barnes, Curate.
lee@malmesburyabbey.com
Lee is from Derby but has spent the last ten years in Bristol. During that period he has spent a lot of time in various ‘theological’ places and has worked with the ex-offender and homeless communities in support and rehabilitation. Prior to Bristol, he hitched and travelled here and abroad. He has just completed an MA in Applied Theology at Trinity College. He is married to Mary and they have two children, Arianna and Nate. He enjoys nothing better than a fine ale, a sunny day, and a gathering of friends! Added to that; football, poetry, relevant missional conversations and talking about Jesus!
Katie Windle, Associate Minister.
katie@malmesburyabbey.com
Katie is 36, married to Roy and has 3 children: 2 and a half year old twins Anna and Danny and Jonah who is 7 months. Her previous job was being a vicar in Bath, and before that she was a curate in both Hullavington and Nottingham. Katie taught English and Drama in secondary schools for 5 years and is passionate about helping young people get to know and love Jesus. Her main ministries at the Abbey are chasing her twins round the building, getting to know and pray with young families in Malmesbury, leading the odd 4pm service and she will soon start a new part-time role as Chaplain at Malmesbury Primary School.
Paul Tilley, Associate Pastor, Youth & Children’s Ministry.
paul@malmesburyabbey.com
Paul has been working with young people since he was 18 years old. He is married to Kate and they have a daughter Eloise and one year old twin boys, Isaac and Reuben. Before moving to Malmesbury, they were living and working in Chagford on Dartmoor where Paul also completed his BA in Youth and Applied Theology. Paul plays guitar, drums and djembe and is therefore always tapping. He also runs, mountain bikes and thinks he can surf and climb. He is now pretty grey headed which he puts down to having twins, but finds that his curry making is his saving grace.

Pete also enjoys the challenge of ensuring the Abbey is a welcoming and down-to-earth place for blokes to come and enjoy, organising events, good food and sports! Pete is a Social Worker and works for Bath Local Authority.
Linda has been a Licensed Lay Minister since 1996 and has been at the Abbey since 2007. She is married to Chris who sings in the Abbey choir and is also a Steward at the Abbey.
As well as leading and preaching at services, Linda’s work includes being part of the Pastoral Care team in a Listening and befriending role and she enjoys being a member of the Healing in the Streets team.
