When We Meet Junior Church meet most Sundays. On a typical Sunday we enjoy the first part of the main service in the Abbey at 4pm. After about 10-15 minutes Junior Church leave the main service. We usually gather outside the main door to head off to our groups. These are held in the Le Flambe or Kings Church. Not every week is the same! Unless there are different events planned Junior Church follows this pattern:
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd Sundays - Junior Church activities, 4pm in Abbey
- 4th Sunday - All Age Communion service – Junior Church stays in 4pm service.
- 5th Sunday - Festival Communion – all services join together at 10:30am.
Protecting Our Children We ensure that appropriate adults to children ratios are maintained in all groups. All regular leaders and helpers are CRB checked. Volunteering We are always seeking additional volunteers. All of our volunteers go through an application process which includes a background check. Sickness Policy We ask that if your children is sick, a fever over 100 degrees, any signs of chicken-pox or other contagious virus/bacteria, or diarrhea/vomiting in the last 24 hours, do not send them to Junior Church. This is for the health and safety of the other children in the ministry and our volunteers. Other Junior Churches Activities The Abbey Junior Church plays an active part in Junior Churches Together in Malmesbury events, see www.jctim.info For further information about the Junior Church, contact Paul Tilley e-mail
